Ann's Place, Home of I CAN Serving Connecticut and Eastern New York, Ann's Place, The Home of I CAN provides comfort and support to people living with cancer and to their loved ones. They inspire people to create solutions which will strengthen and sustain them. |

The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT., offers visitors of all ages the opportunity to have a good time while learning about the vital natural resource just off our shore: the Long Island Sound. Set in a refurbished 1860s factory at the mouth of the Norwalk River, the Aquarium building and its location reflect the region’s industrial past and human uses of Long Island Sound for recreation and commerce. |

Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital is a novel outreach program that was started in April 2006. The hospital has the noble mission of taking healthcare to rural villages. All services are 100% free of charge. Every month, for twelve days, the mobile clinic with its team of volunteer doctors visit a different village every day. They lovingly offer diagnostic services and even perform minor surgeries and dental procedures. Where urgent medical attention is necessary the patients are referred to the local Sri Sathya Sai hospitals for further in-depth treatment. |

Literacy Volunteers is a community-based organization that utilizes the services of trained volunteers to provide free, high-quality reading, writing and English language programs to adults, both American and foreign born, for the purpose of enabling them to acquire the literacy skills necessary to achieve personal and occupational goals. |
